How can you help? Volunteer.
At the heart of the Network are more than 2,000 volunteers from more than a dozen congregations, as well as individuals who are unaffiliated with any church - people of all faiths who have a willingness to assist those in need.
This community-wide outreach allows IHN to operate extremely economically. Our volunteers gain a new awareness of homelessness and become catalysts for change. Whether you help prepare a hot meal, read to or tutor a child, or donate dollars to help fund a worthwhile cause, call us at (970) 663-1716 to make a difference in the lives of our needy families - who are looking for a hand up, not a handout.
We need your donations.
Our expenses in 2007 will exceed $120,000. More than half goes for family services - case management, budgeting classes, fees for GED testing and technical training. Only about 15% is spent on fund-raising and public relations materials.
